Clinical diagnostics - Listeria Test and HIV-1 DNA Test
Listeria Test is an ELISA based method, unique on the market, that rapidly detects anti-Listeriolysin O (LLO) antibodies in human serum and plasma. The test is CE-IVD marked and it represents a non-invasive test for the monitoring and screening of high-risk patients such as pregnant women. The exclusively production of LLO by Listeria monocytogenes ensures high test specificity and sensitivity.
HIV-1 DNA Test allows an accurate detection and quantification of HIV-1 DNA from human blood and PBMC samples through the real time PCR technique. The kit can be used to estimate the size of the HIV reservoir in patients. Importantly, the evaluation of this marker at different stages during the infection course can help clinicians to choose the best therapeutic strategies and can be prognostic. Also, the test can be used for the HIV diagnosis in infants born to infected mothers and below two years of age.
