Bosphore & Bosphore Ultra HCV Real-Time PCR Kits

Bosphore® HCV Real-Time PCR Kits have been IVD CE marked according to the Directive 98/79/EC.  

Bosphore® HCV Real-Time PCR Kits detect and quantitate Hepatitis C virus RNA, encompassing all HCV genotypes including HCV 1-8.

The linear range of quantitation is 1x101-1x109 IU/ml and the sensitivity is up to 8 IU/ml.  

A specific region within the 5’ UTR of HCV genome is amplified and fluorescence detection is accomplished using the FAM filter.  

Kits contain up to 5 standards that undergo extraction for precise quantitation.  

The amplification data of the internal control is detected by a separate channel.  

The internal control can be added either during RNA extraction or Real-Time PCR step.  

The kits are provided as packages of 25 reactions, 50 reactions and 100 reactions.
