At Sistemas Genómicos, we have an extensive track record of participating in projects relating to various convocations such as H2020, FP7, CDTI, MINECO, MINETUR or IVACE, emphasising our direct involvement in the first international genome sequencing projects conducted in Spain and 7 large projects in Europe.
We achieved a great milestone in 2005, when we took part in the first DNA sequencing of a plant –Arabidopsis thaliana–, and also in 2006, when we were the only Spanish organisation to take part in the Tomato Sequencing Project, a pioneering global study to decode the tomato genome, which was featured on the cover of the prestigious journal Nature.
