Calprest NG

Calprest NG is the most accurate enzyme immunoassay (ELISA) developed by Eurospital to assess bowel inflammation in a non-invasive way.

This test for detection of calprotectin in stool samples was developed by exploiting the experience gained by the use of Calprest in clinical laboratories.

Calprest NG is very helpful to differentiate organic Inflammatory Bowel Disease(IBD) and functional disorders like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). A negative Calprest NG result allows to exclude almost certainly bowel inflammation.
