THORK Shock Wave is microcontrolled equipment for therapy by extracorporeal shock wave (ESWT - Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy). The cavitational thermal and mechanical energy produced by THORK Shock Wave is transferred to the patient through a radial shock wave applicator. The equipment presents maximum energy of 200 mJ; the shock wave emission mode can be single or sequential with adjustment of frequency of up 22 Hz and the number of shots can be previously adjusted to 9999 or free mode (Free). Accompanying the device are: 3 projectiles, one in the applicator and 2 spare ones. Each projectile has a durability of 3.000.000 shots. After 9.000.000, that is, after the use of the 3 projectiles, it is necessary to send the applicator for revision and maintenance.
