Self-cleaning

In Baskent University Computer Engineering Department, “Urodynamics Training Kit” project was started as a graduation project. After a year working under the supervision of Computer Engineering’s and Medical School’s faculty members, the project was honored to be supported by the Ministry of Industry.

It was also selected as one of the three successful and innovative projects that had been supported by the Science and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).

The company has been selected as one of the top 8 companies that have the potential for expansion and growth globally by METU Technopark (the most prestigious location of work for a technology company in Turkey) in 2013.

It was selected as one of the best 10 enterprises by TUBITAK and was qualified to attend the Silicon Valley program in January 2014.

With those opportunities, the young entrepreneur Utku Ulusahin and Ahmet Uludag have invented the Oruflow, world’s first self-operating uroflowmeter.

Oruflow, self-operating uroflowmeter was developed in continuation of innovative research and development studies, which is the first application of the worldwide trend of carrying pre-screening health tests outside the clinic in the area of urology.
