HybridKnife®

The Erbe HybridKnife is a multifunctional probe that uses ERBEJET® 2 Water-Jet System and the Erbe VIO®Electrosurgical System (ESU) to cut and dissect soft tissue in neurosurgery and soft tissue such as liver, kidney, etc. within the abdomen, including Total Mesorectal Excision (TME) via the Water-Jet System as well as to provide monopolar cutting and coagulation of the target tissue by the ESU in open as well as endoscopic surgery.

• No change of instrument necessary, thus shorter operating times
• Separation medium can be replenished quickly at any time
• Mechanical and thermal protective function of water cushion is preserved throughout the entire process of resection
• Good view of the operating site: risk of bleeding is minimized (blood vessels are compressed by the water cushion)
• Waterjet pressure can be adjusted depending on lesion, tissue layer and area of application
