IKMIB (Turkish Healthcare)

Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association (IKMIB) takes active part in international organizations in order to sustain the professional ethics and cohesion of Turkish export companies in the chemicals industry, help increase Export levels, diversify export products, help increase products' competitiveness, defend its members' rights and interests and help them form strong relationships in the international arena and support them to get into new markets since 1991. IKMIB efficiently and successfully represents the Turkish chemical sector with the support of the Ministry of Trade and Turkish Exporters Assembly in Turkey as well as in the world. In the chemical industry with its 16 sub sectors such as plastics, cosmetics, medicals and pharmaceuticals, rubber and paint, IKMIB remarkably contributes to the Turkish economy and export and also adds value to the country by supplying raw materials for many sectors such as automotive, textile, and food.

 The national partipication fairs and sectoral trade and buyer missions organized by IKMIB plays a vital role for chemical exporters to reach new markets. IKMIB carries out many activities in order to increase the exports of companies which operates in health sector including pharmaceuticals, medical and dental products. IKMIB organizes the national participation fairs such as ARAB Health, Medica, IDS, AEEDC which are wellknown in the health sector. It also carries out two different Cluster projects in pharmaceutical and health sectors. IKMIB also achieves sectoral trade missions to Far-East, South America and Africa and buying missions concurrent with important domectic fairs. By organizing pharmaceutical and medical committee meetings, it offers opportunities to assess the problems and solutions of the sector. IKMIB also organizes medical and pharmaceutical workshops by bringing the sector partners together.
