UBREATH Pro Spirometer System PF680

UBREATHTM Pro Spirometer System PF680 is a handheld spirometer used to test subject’s lung function, it assists in measuring the effect of lung disease. The device may be used in hospitals, clinics, and homes under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

The device can work in stand-alone mode or connect to a PDA via Bluetooth. The proposed device consists of a main body which incorporates an LCD screen, touch screen, as well as a detachable UBREATHTM Pro disposable flow transducer. Reports can be gathered from the built-in printer.

UBREATHTM Pro Spirometer System PF680 measures a subject’s lung function ventilation including both expiratory and inspiration by using Pneumotachograph technology. During the test, the air flow goes through the UBREATHTM  Pro disposable flow transducer produces a pressure differential, this pressure differential then is applied to a pressure detector then calculate to transfer an electric signal. This signal is converted into digital format hence the device can perform calculations then display the results on the screen.
