About the Commonwealth Games GC2018 City of Gold Coast is proud to host the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. More than 6600 athletes and officials from 70 Commonwealth nations and territories will take part in 11 days of competition from 4 to 15 April 2018. GC2018 will unite our community, create jobs and kick-start infrastructure projects that will deliver a world-class event and leave a lasting legacy for the communities of the Gold Coast. All of the infrastructure required to host GC2018 is already in place and when the eyes of the world are on us in April, we'll be ready.
