Polyglactine 910 Plus

Absorbable Poly (glycolide-co-lactide) (PGLA) is a sterile absorbable synthetic, multifilament suture composed of copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% lactide (Poly(glycolide-co lactide) (90/10) and is available both dyed (Violet)and un dyed. The suture coating material is PGLA 370 and calcium stearate.
Antibacterial PGLA is proved after studies effective in reducing the number of recovered bacteria in a buffered aqueous environment in vitro model for up to 7 days and considered to have sufficient antibacterial effect that supports prevention of surgical site infection. Available in 5/0 to 2 USP.
