Pharmada Pharmaceuticals was incorporated in Istanbul in the year 1998.
The company introduced a cold and cough product in 1999, followed by ceftriaxone and cefotaxime
products in 2005 and 2006.
In subsequent years, the company invested significantly in developments of generic pharmaceutical
formulations. The therapeutic segments covered by the company’s portfolio of several generics include
anti-infectives, antifungals, antivirals, nephrology, cardiology, anaesthesiology, gastroenterology, muscoskeletal, oncology supportive, antidote products etc.
Through development activities, Pharmada team is always committed to finding better alternatives to more
expensive and less feasible products, which can be mass produced for the benefit of entire mankind.
Pharmada is dedicated to fostering a dynamic change-driven culture committed to meeting the needs of our

The Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency has become a member of “Pharmaceutical Inspection
Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) on the 1st of January, 2018. The Agency’s GMP inspections will now be globally recognized
and Turkey’s membership in the scheme will inevitably improve quality and reliability of local pharmaceutical products.
Turkey produces pharmaceutical products in accordance with the basic standards of the EMA, FDA and WHO.
