XRAY IRRADIATOR

The X-ray irradiator RADGIL 2 is used for the treatment of Blood and haemoderivatives, Thrombocytes concentrates, cells and tissue, Transplant organs and Generic treatments.

It is composed of shielded X-ray compartment with a holding system for the materials undergoing treatment, a special high frequency water-cooled X-ray generator and an LCD user interface to input treatment data, set kV, mA and time (seconds, minutes).

The RADGIL 2 is also equipped with a rotating canister for a maximum irradiation homogeneity and the blood is kept mixed to avoid the risk of platelet aggregation. It can treat 6 bags of 300ml, 3 bags of 450ml or 3 bags of 600ml in 4 minutes with a dose between 25Gy and 30Gy.

In addition, the X-ray irradiator offers 7 possible kV values (80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200Kv), 4 possible mA values (5, 10, 15, 20mA), 6 optional interchangeable x-ray filters, automatic preheating, complete self-diagnosis and adjustable treatment time from 1 second to 99 minutes.
