UBREATH Spirometer System PF280

UBREATH Spirometer System PF280 is a handheld spirometer used to test the subject’s lung function, it assists in measuring the effect of lung disease. The device may be used in hospitals, clinics, and homes under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

The device can work in stand-alone mode or connect to a PC via Bluetooth. The proposed device consists of the main body which incorporates an LCD screen, a 4-key panel, as well as a detachable UBREATH disposable flow transducer. Reports can be viewed from the device screen or printed by the printer connected to PC.

UBREATH Spirometer System PF280 measures a subject’s lung function ventilation by using Pneumotachograph technology. During the test, the airflow goes through the UBREATHdisposable flow transducer produces a pressure differential, this pressure differential then is applied to a pressure detector then calculate to transfer an electric signal. This signal is converted into digital format hence the device can perform calculations then display the results on the screen.

Primary Functions

  1. The device can be interacted by pressing keys
  2. Time/Date setting
  3. Audio guidance
  4. Reference value can be analyzed based on inputting subject’s gender, age, height, weight etc...
  5. By taking single breath techniques, to display and record lung volumes and flow rates including PEF, FVC, FEV1, FEV1%, FEF50,FEF75 on the device, and three other more on PC software, which are MMEF ,FET, VBEex
  6. Record and display subject demographic data including F-T and F-V
  7. Traffic lights system to indicate PEF performance differentials.
  8. Up to 495 tests can be stored
  9. Bluetooth connectivity to PC

Certification and compliance
