Hepatitis virus (HCV) antibody detection test paper hepatitis c test paper c

Hepatitis C is a major blood borne disease caused by infection with Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). Infection with HCV can lead to chronic inflammation and necrosis and fibrosis in the liver, with some patients developing cirrhosis and even hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The specific antibody response after HCV infection appears late, usually about 8-20 weeks after infection, the specific antibody can be detected. Serum or plasma anti-hcv antibody test results were positive, suggesting that the patient may have been infected with HCV.

[test method]

1. You must complete the reading before testing instruction for use, before using the test kit and serum/plasma samples back to room temperature (20 ℃ ~ 30 ℃).

2. Tear out the aluminum foil bag, take out the kit and place it on a clean, flat surface, and use the plastic straw vertical drip plus 3 drops (about 100 mu l) serum/plasma samples in the add sample hole (S) to start the time.

3. Wait for the appearance of the magenta stripe, read the result within 15 minutes, and the decision will be invalid after 20 minutes.

[interpretation of test results]

Positive (+) : there are two magenta strips. One is located in the test area (T) and the other is located in the control area (C).

Negative (-) : only a red band in the control area (C).

Invalid: control area (C) no red ribbon. Indicates that improper operation or kit has expired. In this case, the instructions should be carefully read again and retested with a new kit. If the problem persists, you should immediately stop using the batch number and contact your local supplier.
