Stay Dry*
Wetting the bed is a common problem, it is estimated to be affecting 10% of 6-year-olds, 7% of 7-year-olds and 5% of 10-year-olds. Learning how to become dry at night is not an easy process. The child has to recognize and respond to the sensation of a full bladder while asleep and then use the toilet or ‘hold on’ until the morning.
As soon as the child wakes up (they may need assistance from you), they should go to the toilet and finish emptying their bladder.
