gSource spinal punches are crafted from high quality German surgical stainless steel and are used to grasp or excise tissue, degenerated disc material or bone during spinal and neurological procedures. Jaw bite styles include 40 degree forward, 90 degree up, and 90 degree down in a variety of bite sizes by pattern. Millimeter bite sizes are etched on handles. A variety of handles are available including silicone handles for a secure and comfortable grip. The Easy2Clean Kerrison Punch opens for easy and complete cleaning.
In most spinal punches, tissue and debris can collect and remain trapped between the main body and slider. This build-up can impede the smooth function of the instrument and prevent proper sterilization as a result of not being completely cleaned prior to sterilization. The Easy2Clean Kerrison Punch has a hinged slider that opens in order to allow access for easy and complete cleaning inside the main body.
