RIVAL 20 MG/G GEL

Rival 20 mg/g gel, is an OTC medicine. Active ingredient: diphenhydramine hydrochloride 20 mg/g. The topical antiallergic gel with anesthetic effect. RIVAL gel is indicated in the treatment of skin pain, pruritus and inflammation from allergic conditions like: insect bites and stings, minor burns, sun burns, scratches and minor skin irritations. Immediate effect from the double effect: antiallergic and anesthetic and cooling effect from the content in menthol. Difenhydramine is the only antihistamine that acts through antiallergic and anesthetic mechanism, blocking nerve transmission through the peripheral nerve endings sensitized by released histamine. Menthol gives a cooling effect that helps to relieve the symptoms. Anti-allergic and anesthetic action that installs quickly and lasts for up to 6 hours.
