PROCTOLIZIN 10 mg/20 mg/50 mg/g cream is a RX medicine. 1 gram of cream contains hydrocortisone acetate 10 mg, lidocaine 20 mg and zinc oxide 50 mg. Unique combination for rapid relief of hemorrhoidal syptoms. PROCTOLIZIN is indicated in short-therm symptomatic treatment of external hemorrhoids, anal and perianal itching, anitis and perianitis, recititis, cryptitis, anal papillitis, acute hemorrhoidal thrombosis, anal and perianal fissures. The product contains three active substances that synergistically acts and thus the product presents a broad spectrum of therapeutic actions: anesthetic local (and implicitly analgesic), anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, emollient, astringent and decongestant. Hydrocortisone and lidocaine act mainly on the symptoms relief, whereas the combination between zinc and dexpanthenol from cream base favours the reepithelization and healing of the tissue.
