Fast Therapy - Now you can deliver fast, effective therapy with features like automatic turn-on when the case is opened, and pre-connected SMART Pads III without the foil pouch. This allows the user to connect the patient and deliver therapy in record time.

SMART CPR - Evaluates the patient's heart rhythm and advises whether to initially treat a shockable rhythm with a shock, or treat with CPR first, immediately followed by a shock.

Quick Shock - Statistics show survival rates are closely linked to the speed of shock delivery after CPR. The HeartStart FR3 is capable of delivering treatment in less than 8 seconds.

But don't be misled by its advanced capabilities. The HeartStart FR3 is extremely easy to use. Its design is based on years of research, refinement by Philips' human factors experts and user testing with a full range of responders from healthcare professionals to lay people.

Infant/Child Defibrillation. The FR3 can treat patients of any age. When equipped with the special infant/child key which reduces the energy delivered to the FR3's pads, you can safely treat a patient aged 1 - 8, weighing 55 pounds or less.
