ORCHA AppFinder

ORCHA's core product is the AppFinder: an extensive, searchable App Library comprising almost 6,000 health and care apps, all of which have undergone ORCHA's robust Review process. All apps on the AppFinder have been evaluated in the three distinct domains of Clinical Assurance, User Experience and Data Privacy, meaning our platform is safe, efficient, and enables the best apps to be identified.

The AppFinder uses powerful search features that we have developed and continuously iterate and improve to maximise the chance of an end user finding a solution to meet their specific needs. This includes simple free text search which is constantly being optimised to limit as many 'no results' searches as possible. The other search elements are unique to the AppFinder and allow for more tailored searches to be made on a range of ‘characteristics’ to maximise the chance of finding a suitable digital health solution. For example, users have the ability to filter searches by a large number of categories and subcategories, including health condition, age range, country, key functions and features, paid for or free, to name but a few.

ORCHA also provides customisable 'microsite' versions of the AppFinder, which health and care organisations/bodies, local authorities, and charities, can purchase to drive uptake of health and care apps. The AppFinder includes a wide array of configurable components to support clients to meet the health and support challenges in their region. These tailored App Library sites enable clients to optimally target the audiences they want to activate or support.
