Multiplex Interphase Chromosome Profiling – Acute Lymphocytic leukemia (ALL)

InteGen’s Multiplex Interphase Chromosome Profiling product for ALL detects all numerical and structural abnormalities identified in conventional cytogenetic and FISH studies. Our probes  detect cryptic balanced and unbalanced rearrangements, which are traditionally missed by cytogenetics and FISH. In addition, this technology can detect novel terminal deletions, including the IgH variable region, as well as detecting all clinically relevant deletions and duplications/amplifications. Using our technology, technologists can overcome the known difficulty of analyzing the morphologically poor chromosomes inherent in this disease. They can complete the analysis of a case in about 45 minutes while the traditional chromosome analysis takes several hours.
