K-wires

gSource K-wires (Kirschner wires) are precision ground from certified implant German surgical stainless steel or titanium alloy and have smooth tapered points which are expertly machined for easier penetration. They are sold in packages of 6 each and are non-sterile. Internal fixation devices such as K-wires are intended for single-use only and must not be reused. Available in a variety of lengths, diameter sizes, and patterns including smooth or threaded, as well as various tip ends including double trocar, single trocar, double diamond, and single diamond. K-wires are used to help reduce and stabilize fractures, osteotomies and fusions and are considered a versatile tool in the hand of orthopedic and plastic surgeons.
