Cardio Kit

Nuclear Laser Medicine announces the new device Cardio Kit. This test allows to detect the genetic predisposition to atherosclerotic coronary artery disease leading to myocardial infarction. The peculiarity of this device is given by the possibility to integrate the genetic data with the traditional risk factors given by: age, gender, diabetes, smoke etc. The final result of the integration of these data is a score which indicates the percentage of probability that a patient will experience a cardiovascular event in a time ranging from 5 to 20 years from the test execution. The final score is possible thanks to the service given by the software on-line "Ω RACE" which calculates the integration of GENETIC DATA together with TRADITIONAL RISK FACTORS. The software allows to change the traditional risk factors data in time to manage the follow-up. The genetic test is excecuted one time only and it is valid for life.
