APHEL

APHEL-The nurse robot is a project for the development of a global platform which brings a humanoid robot to the hospital to assist patients and help healthcare staff, moving in complete autonomy.  In a context in which performing humanoid robots with multiple potential are present on the market, APHEL represents the implementation of a new "nurse 4.0", which is able to interface both with people and with other medical devices present in the hospital, automating their programming and ensuring an active control of the environment in which the patient is located.

The APHEL project will represent a revolution in healthcare since it will create a subject of remarkable dimensions that will deal to improve efficiency in the hospital in terms of cost reduction for the hospital, better quality of life for the patient and for hospital staff. 

APHEL does not aim to replace hospital staff/nurses, but rather to support it in the simplest and most physically demanding tasks, ensuring greater efficiency of the health system and better quality of life for the patient in the hospital.
