Alle gel is an OTC medicine. Active ingredients: diclofenac sodium 10 mg/g, heparin sodium 500 IU. The unique and strongest topical treatment for venous disease. It is recommended in treatment of chronic venous diseases (thrombophlebitis, superficial thromboses) and their inflammatory complications and acute inflammatory venous diseases (superficial phlebitis); phlebitis prophylaxis; treatment of posttraumatic wounds of the joints and soft tissues accompanied by blood effusion and local edema: sprains, bruises, muscular extensions, diseases of the meniscus, tenosynovitis, contractures and hematomas. Diclofenac sodium, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, inhibits the local synthesis of prostaglandins, relieving rheumatic and traumatic pain. Heparin sodium - antithrombotic, reduces the size of clots, ecchymoses and prevents the formation of new clots after topical application without modifying blood coagulability. Alle gel has synergistic anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-thrombotic and anti-oedematous action, very beneficial in inflammatory diseases of venous or musculoskeletal nature.It hydrates the application area due to dexpanthenol, allowing a better compliance of the patient in long term treatment courses and is indicated for traumatic conditions where intense pain does not allow the massage. Less adverse effects than the combinatory treatment with systemic NSAIDS and topical heparin in phlebitis. Improved absorption rate of active substances, enhanced by the action of menthol and dexpanthenol.
