MEDIN, a.s., is a Czech company with head office in Nové Město na Moravě focusing on the production and distribution of medical instruments and implants. The company tradition started with the production of dental instruments over sixty years ago. Currently the portfolio comprises of four main product groups – traumatology, surgery, orthopaedics, and dentistry. MEDIN ranks amongst the largest European manufacturers of medical instruments as regards the product range. Over one half of the turnover results from export, in particular to European countries, Latin America and Near East. Development and production Integral part of MEDIN is the development team which cooperates with specialist medical and science workplaces, and focuses on the production of own products. The development includes the use of the latest CAD 3D systems, including the option of 3D print used for creating a product model from the design. MEDIN company uses classical and modern technologies for making the medical instruments and implants. The whole production process involves the processing of high quality materials from forming and machining, through heat treatment, hand and chemical surface treatment to laser marking and final cleaning of products.
