The story of Fricosmos began in the year 1985. It represents the continuity of a long dynasty
which origins goes back to the year 1960, year when the firm Inoxidables Sanz León, was
founded as an ironworks and knives manufacturing company.
33 years later the company has grown giving as a result a firm with the recognition of more
than 7.000 distributors all over the world. This long progress has been achieved thanks to a
team of professionals that believe in this business project, working together as a group with
a will that encourages us to keep on growing and rising up our level within this so competitive
context.
Fricosmos, S.A., continuing its long tradition of quality, obtained the certified ISO 9001
in the year 2002, now updated to its version 2008. This certified is the recognition to the
efficiency and maturity of our quality system, and confirms the purpose of our firm for the
development of a straight line of continuous progress, giving day after day the most suitable
response to our customers’ needs.
Throughout all these years we have combined our innovative technology and materials of
the highest standards to obtain a typically handicraft product with a guaranteed quality that
accomplishes all the norms of the European current regulations. Every one of our products
is conceived in accordance to all legal requirements, so that they can be helpful for your
customers when adopting the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point).
