Akesis

Akesis, Inc. is a new radiotherapy treatment device manufacturer located in Concord, California, USA. In 2019, Akesis received 510(k) approval for their first product: The Akesis Galaxy®, a high precision rotating gamma system intended for the stereotactic irradiation of head structures.  At the ASTRO 2019 congress, Akesis introduced two upcoming products: the Akesis Galaxy® RTi (WIP) and the Akesis Gemini360™ (WIP). Akesis offers clinicians a new alternative for standard-of-care radiotherapy treatment systems which provide improved flexibility, efficiency, and return-on-investment.
